What is RCB?

RCB stands for Recovered Carbon Black, a crucial component derived from used tyres. At Schwalbe's partner location, Pyrum Innovations, old tyres undergo mechanical shredding and a thermochemical procedure called pyrolysis to recover this vital ingredient. RCB plays a key role in tyre performance, influencing crucial factors, such as abrasion and rolling resistance, and contributes colouring to the tyre composition.
